With First Extended Additional Coverage, your used vehicle is protected in such critical areas as engine, transmission, suspension, air conditioning/heating and fuel system, etc. First Extended Additional Coverage is transferable between private parties.

Plans and Eligibility Honda Certified Used Cars qualify for First Extended Additional Coverage, with plans covering up to 7 years/100,000 from the original in-service date.

Comprehensive Plan

The Comprehensive Plan was designed for drivers that seek extensive coverage and maximum protection for their automobile investment. The Comprehensive Plan provides you with the most extensive coverage available and yet it is easy to understand.

Comprehensive is “exclusionary” coverage which simply means if a component is not listed under “What Is Not Covered”, then it is covered. It is as simple as that.

The list of exclusions is minimal and consists mostly of maintenance related items. With the ever growing complexity of today’s automobiles, you find Comprehensive provides extensive coverage for your vehicle and protects you from unexpected and expensive auto repair bills. Comprehensive coverage is the ultimate choice for your peace of mind.

TOWING/ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Protects you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in the U.S. and Canada. Our toll-free Emergency Assistance hotline is always open to provide the following services:

• Battery jump starts
• Fuel delivery
• Towing
• Flat tire assistance
• Lock out assistance

CAR RENTAL ALLOWANCE

Provides rental reimbursement any time a covered component fails, covered vehicle is retained by repair facility overnight and covered repair exceeds a minimum of four (4) hours labor.

What Is NOT Covered**

Mechanical - Service adjustments/cleaning, throttle body assembly (except injectors), filters, a/c recharge, battery/battery packs, belts, hoses, brake shoes and pads, light bulbs. shock absorbers, squeaks and rattles, tires. tune-ups, wheel alignment. All fluids, lubricants, coolants and refrigerant (except in conjunction with a covered repair).

Exterior - Service adjustments (glass and body parts), bright metal, bumpers. body panels, door handles, hinges, glass. moldings, outside ornamentation. paint. rust, sideview mirrors (glass and housing} air and water leaks, weatherstrip, wheel covers/ornaments and wind noise. Physical damage. alignment or bumper and body parts.

Interior - Buttons, carpet, trim, upholstery, door and window handles. knobs and rear view mirror (glass and housing) Non-factory installed theft deterrent systems, radar detectors, telephones, radios, CD/tape players. DVD/VCR players. TV's, graphic equalizers, speakers navigational systems and related components.
